A Reliability and Maintenance Coordinator is required for a leading medical technology company in Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed work plans and schedules for preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Gather necessary personnel, tools, and spare parts for scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Analyze equipment history and maintenance data to improve planning, increase reliability, and reduce downtime.
  • Create, prioritize, and manage work orders within the CMMS system (SAP), ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Technical Leader, Spare Parts Coordinator, production, engineering, and procurement teams for efficient communication, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, MTTR, and MTBF to assess maintenance effectiveness.
  • E nsure all planned maintenance activities meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.

The successful candidate will have a Minimum Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. A proven track record in a technical role within a production environment is essential. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £42,000 per annum, based on national averages in the UK.
