About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at TQR Consultancy Ltd in Plymouth, UK. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling, with experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure the reliability, availability, and operational effectiveness of equipment within the manufacturing facility.
  • Co-ordinate resources, including labour, materials, and tools, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimising downtime.
  • Analyse equipment history and maintenance data to improve planning, increase reliability, and reduce downtime.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering or time served Engineering experience.
  • GCSE in Mathematics or equivalent.
  • Proven engineering experience and knowledge of maintenance systems and procedures, ideally SAP.
  • Prior experience maintenance scheduling, task list formulation and material and resource planning.
