Job Title: Process Optimization Engineer

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per annum.

About the Role: As a Process Optimization Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs. Your primary focus will be on championing lean manufacturing techniques, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and optimizing resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementation.
  • Analyze data to inform decision-making and drive process enhancements.
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact.
  • Design and implement Lean initiatives to improve flow and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Engage with stakeholders to communicate progress and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of production processes and equipment.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Create and implement recommendations for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to implement process changes and ensure smooth transition.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to production staff.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate production staff on new processes and equipment.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot equipment performance and recommend maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process optimization, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
