We are seeking a highly dedicated and passionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students in overcoming their learning barriers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology graduate or someone with a related degree to gain invaluable experience and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced SEN specialists to implement effective learning strategies and provide personalized academic and emotional support to students with various learning challenges, including autism, ADHD, and specific learning difficulties.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the school's SEN provision, helping students build confidence, develop key skills, and reach their full potential.

You will have the chance to make a significant impact on students' learning journeys by working in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, using tailored strategies to support their development and ensuring they feel engaged and confident in the classroom.

This role is perfect for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in an educational setting before pursuing further qualifications in SEN teaching, Educational Psychology, or other related fields.

We highly value relevant experience working with SEN learners, whether in educational, voluntary, or care settings.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalized academic and emotional support to students with SEN in small groups or 1:1 settings
  • Working closely with SEN specialists to implement effective learning strategies
  • Helping students overcome barriers to learning and make education accessible for all
  • Collaborating with experienced SEN specialists to develop and implement tailored support plans
  • Supporting students with various learning challenges, including autism, ADHD, and specific learning difficulties

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Psychology degree or related field
  • Passion for supporting students with SEN and helping them overcome learning barriers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Relevant experience working with SEN learners, whether in educational, voluntary, or care settings
