TEST TECHNICIAN ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team at Trant Engineering Ltd in Southampton. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing and verifying control panels against design schematics, including fault finding and diagnosis.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Test Technician/Wireman in a fault finding role and strong communication skills. A history of working within the water, energy, or power sector is advantageous.

This is a full-time role working 45 hours each week with a competitive salary of £29,500 - £33,500 per annum. The working hours are 07:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  1. Test and verify control panels against design schematics
  2. Determine root causes of faults and implement repairs
  3. Conduct regular maintenance on MCCs/control panels
