Job Summary

:

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization and direction of construction and related activities within a designated area of responsibility. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design specifications, completed on schedule, within budget, and meet required safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct construction contractors, suppliers, clients, and their representatives to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Establish, coordinate, and implement construction schedules, craft professional deployment, and material and equipment requirements.
  • Monitor and control jobsite expenditures to ensure they remain within budget.
  • Supervise personnel in the assigned area of responsibility, conducting performance evaluations and maintaining counseling programs.
  • Administer contractual activities, participating in contracts and subcontracts technical bid evaluations.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure construction operations adhere to engineering designs, specifications, safety standards, quality standards, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate construction operations to ensure they align with overall established schedules, maintaining relationships with clients and their representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy and local/national regulatory safety codes, requirements, and standards.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge of construction operations, including field activities of engineering disciplines, construction technologies, and jobsite management.
  • Understanding of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy.
  • Familiarity with the Project ES&H Handbook, the Supervisors ES&H Manual, the Project Safety Management Plan, and the Bechtel Core Processes.
  • Knowledge of the Project Construction Environmental Control Plan.
