Consultant Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the Central Manchester Home Based Treatment Team, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Clinical Duties:

  1. Provide expert clinical leadership to the HBTT MDT
  2. Deliver evidence-based care to patients referred to HBTT
  3. Develop and implement care packages in collaboration with the team
  4. Provide consultation and liaison with general practitioners and other referrers as necessary
  5. Undertake Mental Health Act assessments in conjunction with team colleagues
  6. Supervise medical students, junior and non-consultant career grade doctors, and other healthcare professionals
  7. Participate in CPD activities and contribute to multidisciplinary teaching and development
  8. Contribute to audit and service development activities
