Senior Psychiatrist Opportunity in Manchester

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychiatrist to join our team in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of referrals and admissions to the service
  • Develop and implement effective management plans for complex mental health presentations
  • Provide high-quality care and treatment to individuals with severe and enduring mental health problems
  • Lead clinical decision-making in the multidisciplinary team to ensure delivery of high-quality care
  • Develop and implement service clinical priorities in line with national and professional guidance and standards

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Work in partnership with psychiatrists from partner providers to deliver high-quality care
  • Engage with service transformation programmes and contribute to Consultant meetings for the service and directorate
