Consultant Psychiatrist Opportunity

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join their Central Manchester Home Based Treatment Team.

This is a full-time appointment that requires a senior clinician with experience in psychiatry to lead and work with a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical leadership, direct clinical care to patients, and deliver evidence-based care.

Clinical Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical leadership to the HBTT MDT
  2. Deliver direct clinical care to patients referred to HBTT
  3. Develop and implement evidence-based care plans
  4. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  5. Provide clinical leadership within the community service and adult care group
  6. Work closely with other teams and consultants
  7. Liaise with external agencies to ensure seamless care
  8. Provide expert advice and input on patient care
  9. Undertake Mental Health Act assessments with team colleagues
  10. Supervise junior doctors and non-medical prescribers
  11. Participate in CPD activities and contribute to multidisciplinary teaching
  12. Participate in audit and service development activities
