Career Opportunities: CV Library is working with a well-established Manufacturer to fill a vacancy for a skilled Mechanical Biased Maintenance Technician.

The primary objectives:

This role requires the ability to perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Development and implementation of effective PPM schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Accurate recording and communication of maintenance data through various channels.
  • Supporting the installation and testing of new equipment.
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex machinery issues.
  • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting of control equipment, drives, and PLCs.
  • Experience in welding techniques (MMA or MIG).
  • A working understanding of electrical heating systems.
  • Installation and modification of machines.
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings.
  • Proficient in computer software applications.
  • Minimum HNC level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Desirable qualifications: NEBOSH or IOSH.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
