We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our IT assets, including hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement or disposal.
- Monitor software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and optimize license usage to minimize costs.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of asset inventories and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze asset usage patterns and identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce costs without compromising performance.
- Collaborate with the IT Service Manager to evaluate current processes and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement effective asset management practices and maintain an effective license position for all software contracts.
- Previous experience in an IT Asset management coordinator, specialist, or similar role.
- Knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle from request to disposal.
- Knowledge of software management practices, ensuring optimal use and compliance with licensing agreements.
- Experience of using hardware and software asset management tools or systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office desktop tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Starting salary of £40,000 - £55,000 DOE.
- Starting holiday entitlement of 26 days, increasing up to 31 days with length of service.
