About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Nephrologist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Department of Renal Medicine and Transplantation, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our renal services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with renal disease, including dialysis and transplantation
  • Lead clinical teams and contribute to the development of our renal services
  • Participate in clinical research and audit to improve patient outcomes
  • Teach and mentor junior staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • MB BS or equivalent
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Certificate of completion of training (CCT) or proposed CCT within 6 months of interview

Desirable qualifications include training in peritoneal dialysis and experience in managing patients with lupus.
