We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our client, a privately owned service and solutions business based in the Shropshire region. As the primary financial manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive financial management, reporting, and control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Provide strategic insight to support decision-making processes across the leadership team.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Implement financial strategies and optimise visibility of financial performance.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong interpersonal skills, which are essential for effective communication across the leadership team and all levels of the business.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Proven track record.
  • Excellent Excel skills for efficient data analysis and presentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent leadership skills.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum.
