Job Description

We are seeking experienced police officers to join our team as Chief Inspectors in Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals to take on a challenging role that requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills. As a Chief Inspector, you will be responsible for leading a team of police officers and working closely with other agencies to maintain community safety and security.

The salary for this position is approximately £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This competitive salary reflects the high level of responsibility and expertise required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of police officers and provide guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of policing services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve community safety and reduce crime rates.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to bring offenders to justice.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • You must be a serving police officer from a Home Office Force with no current performance or conduct concerns.
  • You must have completed the two-year probationary period and the Policing Diploma, or equivalent qualification at the point of application.
