About the Role

This Community Policing Officer position involves working closely with residents, schools, and other community groups to prevent crime and provide support. As part of this role, you will be responsible for building partnerships and fostering trust within the community. Your passion for public service and dedication to creating a safe environment will be essential in achieving our goals.

As a Community Policing Officer, you will be expected to obtain a Level 4 diploma in Community Policing Practice within the first 12 months of your appointment. You will also receive support through your Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths during your first year with us.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong commitment to community policing and possess excellent communication skills. A full manual driving license is desirable, as is competence in basic office IT skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,921 per annum, plus additional weekend enhancement and shift allowance payments of potentially around £4800 per annum, depending on your shift pattern.
