Examination Support Assistant

Harris Academy Bermondsey is a diverse and inclusive comprehensive school for girls in central London. Many of our students come from disadvantaged backgrounds, but all have access to a broad and balanced curriculum, including the EBacc, to prepare them for university and beyond.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Exams Officer in the day-to-day operation of examination venues and processes, including setting up venues, assisting candidates, and ensuring the smooth running of examinations.
- Assist with the preparation of examination papers, stationery, and equipment, and ensure their timely delivery to and from venues.
- Supervise candidates during examinations, dealing with queries and irregularities, and maintaining a secure and respectful environment.
- Record attendance and late arrivals, and collect and collate scripts at the end of the examination.
- Assist with the packing and transportation of examination materials, and ensure their secure storage.

- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting and moving examination materials.
