Travel Assistance Case Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Travel Assistance Case Manager to join our team at Cover-More. As a key member of our emergency assistance team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to travellers in distress, utilizing your exceptional problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve complex situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls from travellers, providing timely and effective assistance in situations such as medical emergencies, lost baggage, and security incidents.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide tailored advice and solutions to real-world problems.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to travellers in distress, maintaining a calm and empathetic demeanor throughout each call and case.
- Collaborate with our team to locate suitable medical facilities, emergency services, and other resources to support travellers in need.
- Facilitate payment and guarantee of facility and vendor bills, ensuring seamless support for travellers.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with travellers, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the services available to support them.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with travellers in distress.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to follow processes and procedures to provide quick and accurate assistance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills, with the ability to de-escalate tense situations and provide effective solutions.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in French, Dutch, or Flemish is highly desirable.
