We are seeking an experienced Assessment Nurse to join our team, where you will have the opportunity to work with a leading, multi-national employer and make the most of your existing clinical knowledge.

As an Assessment Nurse, you will be responsible for providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR)
  • Managing caseloads from end to end, including delivering assessments and managing cases to conclusion
  • Assessing the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic
  • 1+ years post-qualification experience
  • Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions
  • Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500
  • 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality and retention bonus
  • OTE: £45,650
  • Hybrid full-time and part-time working hours available
  • Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week)
  • 25 days' holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service
