Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Early Years Educator Apprentice at our Greengables Day Nursery in Sandhurst, Berkshire.
About the RoleAs an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced team to provide high-quality care and education to young children. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining safe and supportive learning environments, planning and implementing opportunities to enhance children's development, and completing observations linked to the early years curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a team to create and maintain safe and supportive learning environments
- Plan and implement opportunities to enhance children's development
- Complete observations linked to the early years curriculum
- Interact positively with all nursery users and work in partnership with colleagues and parents to ensure all children's individual needs are met
- Adhere to nursery routines and policies and seek guidance from your leadership team as required
We offer a comprehensive training programme, including:
- A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications in maths and English
- A permanent contract subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship
- A competitive hourly pay rate, increasing to £10 per hour after 6 months and £11.44 per hour after 12 months
- A range of benefits, including childcare discount, fully-paid enhanced DBS check, and annual leave
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for child development and education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Basic computer skills and access to a computer for online assessments and coursework
Please note that we will need to obtain suitable references and an enhanced DBS check for suitable applicants prior to employment commencing. You will also need to evidence your right to work in the UK and, if you hold maths and English qualifications, you will need to evidence these qualifications too.
