Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Early Years Educator Apprentice at our Greengables Day Nursery in Sandhurst, Berkshire.

About the Role

As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in childcare and education, working with children under 5 years old. You will be part of a supportive team, working together to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to plan and implement activities that promote children's development and learning
  • Provide high-quality care and education to young children, ensuring their individual needs are met
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in observations and assessments to inform teaching and learning
What We Offer

  • A Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Functional skills qualifications in maths and English
  • A permanent contract, subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship
  • A competitive hourly rate, increasing after 6 months and 12 months in post

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for childcare and education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Basic computer skills and access to a computer for online assessments and coursework
