About the Role

Tops Day Nurseries is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Nursery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Organize and participate in activities, such as games, crafts, and educational tasks
  • Develop and implement an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities
  • Prepare the nursery for Ofsted inspections and follow inspector recommendations
  • Conduct interviews for potential applicants and develop and maintain the nursery budget
  • Arrange marketing materials and monitor the condition of the facility and equipment
  • Update parents and carers about their child's progress and behaviour
  • Answer enquiries about enrolment, payments, and practices

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive outlook
  • Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
