Job Title: Electrical Technical Procurement Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Procurement Manager to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for analyzing and establishing cost parameters against budgets for plant and equipment, including lights and accessories purchases and sub-sub packages, to ensure best value has been achieved.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Analyze and establish cost parameters against budgets for plant and equipment, including lights and accessories purchases and sub-sub packages, to ensure best value has been achieved.
* Create and maintain good relationships with manufacturers/suppliers.
* Make professional decisions.
* Maintain records of purchases, pricing, draw offs, and other important data relating to the project.
* Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
* Use current systems for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
* Negotiate the best deal while considering the whole supply chain.
* Ensure that products and supplies are high quality and delivered on time.
* Maintain and update a list of suppliers, delivery times, and mitigate against delays.
* Work with team members, design managers, and Head of Technical Buying to complete duties as needed.
* Attend project meetings.
* Train and educate a junior technical buyer to carry out the required tasks, covering quotes, P.T.S.s, and trackers.

**Qualifications:**

* Technical role – Trade/Contracts Management/Technical Procurement/Estimating
* GCSEs minimum English & Maths
* Industry Qualification – Plumbing/Heating/Engineering/Built Environment

**Skills & Abilities:**

* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
* Ability to negotiate, establish, and bring deals over the line.
* Excellent organization and planning skills, ability to work to deadlines.
* Managing own time effectively.
* Problem solver.
* Accurate and precise with attention to detail.
* Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.
* Goal-oriented, organized team player.
