Job Title: Electrical Technical Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technical Procurement Manager to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring electrical and technical supplies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and establish cost parameters against budgets for plant and equipment, including lights and accessories purchases, to ensure best value has been achieved.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Make informed decisions based on data analysis and market research.
  • Manage records of purchases, pricing, and other important data related to the project.
  • Review and analyse vendor and supplier options to ensure the best value for our clients.
  • Utilize current systems for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Negotiate the best deals while considering the entire supply chain.
  • Ensure high-quality products and supplies are delivered on time.
  • Maintain and update lists of suppliers, delivery times, and mitigate against delays.
  • Collaborate with team members, design managers, and the Head of Technical Buying to complete duties as needed.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on procurement progress.
Qualifications:
  • Technical role experience in trade, contracts management, technical procurement, or estimating.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Industry qualifications in plumbing, heating, engineering, or the built environment.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and bring deals to fruition.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Accurate and precise with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels.
  • Goal-oriented, organised team player.
