Job Opportunity: Associate Lecturer in Psychology

We are seeking an exceptional scholar to join our team as an Associate Lecturer in Psychology. This full-time position offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with a balance of on-campus and remote work.

The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of an introductory module on 'cognition, emotion, and development' and second-year practicals in cognitive psychology. They will also support the student learning experience using a range of approaches and modes of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and support learning on cognitive psychology modules
  • Contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources
  • Support student learning and academic development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality educational experiences
Requirements:
  • PhD (or nearing completion) in Psychology or a related field
  • Specialist knowledge of cognitive psychology
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
