About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team in a Secondary Complex Needs School located in Islington, London. As an experienced SEN Teacher, you will be committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized learning plans to address the specific needs of students with complex learning requirements.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the holistic well-being of students.
* Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
* Regularly monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to parents, carers, and relevant stakeholders.
* Contribute to school-wide initiatives and assist in developing the SEND curriculum.
What You'll Need:
* Proven experience working with students with complex needs in a secondary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of SEND practices and a commitment to inclusive education.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities.
