Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our senior clinical team at Arran View Care Home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Support and guide a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
  • Resident Care: Provide person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Medication Management: Ensure safe administration of medication, adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practices.
  • Care Planning: Create and implement individualized care plans, taking into account residents' needs and preferences.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring the home's operations are in line with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with management and other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the care home.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor team members, promoting professional development and growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 year of supervisory experience in a care setting is preferred.
  • Care Experience: 2 years of providing care and support to residents is preferred.
  • Driving License: A driving license is preferred, but not essential.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care is preferred, but not mandatory.
