Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our senior clinical team at Arran View Care Home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Support and guide a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
  • Resident Care: Provide person-centered care and support to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Medication Management: Ensure safe administration of medication, adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practices.
  • Care Planning: Create and implement individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with management and other departments to ensure smooth home operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor team members, promoting professional development and growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a care home environment.
  • Care Experience: 2 years of experience in providing care to residents, with a focus on person-centered approaches.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is preferred, but not essential.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent is preferred, but not mandatory.
