**Job Description:** Senior Purchasing Officer
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team as a Senior Purchasing Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with a focus on managing large-scale contracts within the building trade and electrical goods sectors.
- Manage high-value procurement projects, ensuring optimal value and quality.
- Collaborate closely with operations and planning teams to align procurement strategies with project goals.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining high standards.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues proactively.
**Requirements:**
- Strong experience in procurement, specifically in large contracts within the building trade or electrical goods sectors.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations and planning.
- Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced environments.
The salary for this role is £60,000 - £75,000 per annum (pro rata), with additional benefits such as work-from-home options.
