Job Overview

ZipRecruiter is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Specialist to join our team in Stafford, VA. As a key member of our acquisition team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Assistant Program Managers and other stakeholders. Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and revising acquisition engineering documentation, conducting technical assessments and evaluations, and providing direct support to Assistant Program Managers. You will also develop reports, briefs, and documentation related to programs in the portfolio, conduct RAM, FRACAS, and TIR Analyses, and review ECPs identifying and documenting program's functional, allocated, and product baselines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other technical/scientific discipline, with 5-10 years of relevant experience. You should have expertise/experience performing complex engineering concerning the design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation of systems/subsystems/equipment, as well as requirements traceability and decomposition into specifications and test plans. Experience developing cybersecurity and architecture products performing engineering modeling and testing events, analyzing results, ensuring security boundaries are maintained during integration efforts, is also required. Additionally, you should have experience with integration/interoperability, Marine Corps Enterprise Architecture, Concept of Operations, Navy/Marine Corps Afloat Integration, Joint Interoperability, and associated systems, hardware, software, and equipment. Prior experience using and/or providing support for multiple systems in various phases of the acquisition cycle is desired. Your salary range is estimated to be $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
