Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents with brain injuries and neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our residents with daily activities, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Lead the shift by ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times, promoting a safe and stable environment.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring our residents receive tailored support to achieve their goals.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews, ensuring our residents' safety and well-being are prioritized.
  • Administer medication as required, maintaining accurate records and adhering to medication policies.
  • Support residents with physical disabilities, utilizing trained techniques and aids to promote independence and mobility.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ or QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in healthcare or social care, with a strong understanding of brain injury and neurological conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on resident-centered care.
