Job Title: Senior Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Newmains, Wishaw.

About the Role:

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents with brain injuries. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance.
  • Leading the shift team to ensure appropriate staffing levels and maintaining a safe and stable environment.
  • Implementing care plans to establish routine and ensuring residents have up-to-date risk assessments and person-centered plans.
  • Administering medication (if required) and supporting residents with physical disabilities using trained techniques and aids.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • A flexible and professional approach to multi-site working.
  • A Level 3 NVQ or QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards.
  • Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
