**Job Description:** Residential Youth Services Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR as a Residential Youth Services Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support services to vulnerable young people.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential youth care and experience in leading and managing teams. They will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:*

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver outstanding care and support services
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide a holistic approach to residential youth care

Requirements:*

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children & Young People
  • Experience: Extensive management experience within a residential youth care setting
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, person-centred approach to leadership

Estimated Salary Range: £51,420.28 - £57,434.34 per annum

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, flexible working required).
