Pregnancy Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal Healthcare Specialist to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a Maternal Healthcare Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care and support services to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, planning, delivering, and evaluating standards of evidence-based midwifery care. You will also provide full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening, as well as identifying high-risk pregnancies. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support services to women and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing the needs of women, partners, families, and carers
- Plan, deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based midwifery care
- Providing full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations and screening
- Identifying high-risk pregnancies

Requirements
- A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years
