About the Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young male with Autism in his own home, promoting his independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support with daily routines, including meal preparation and household tasks
  • Encourage community involvement and social interaction
  • Maintain a safe and tidy living environment
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the individual's needs
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism or Learning Disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full enhanced DBS and up-to-date CV
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the individual's needs
