Supply Star Recruitment Limited is a leading recruitment agency providing specialized teaching professionals to schools across the UK. As an Academic SEN Tutor, you will be working with a school in Rugby that supports learners with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Mental Health Needs.

Estimated Salary:£30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our team as an Academic SEN Tutor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and deliver engaging lessons to students with ASC and Mental Health Needs
  • To assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • To work collaboratively with the school's support staff to provide a comprehensive support package for students
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with ASC and Mental Health Needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
