Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Specialist to join our team at Gilead Sciences Limited. As a Therapeutic Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting the appropriate use of our products to healthcare professionals and achieving sales targets in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Gilead's products and services to a defined customer base within a specific geographic area.
  • Utilize a level of product and therapeutic disease working knowledge to promote the appropriate use of Gilead products to healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare business plans for own territory, assign targets, and communicate required actions to achieve goals.
  • With guidance, initiate systems to monitor sales progress and action plans.
  • Prepare territory budgets for customer contacts, speaker events, and other miscellaneous external expenditures.
  • May work in collaboration with outside partner companies to co-promote products or services.
  • May represent company at professional events and promote company products at such events.
  • Works cooperatively with Medical Science Liaisons, National Account Managers, Marketing, and other internal Gilead team members on various cross-functional projects related to specific accounts or physicians.
  • Works as an individual contributor, building and extending business relationships with key customers or accounts.
  • Assists in the identification and resolution of issues and opportunities, and communicates proactively to marketing and sales management.
  • Completes necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner, including updating customer databases and expenses.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a BA or BS degree and minimum of 4-6 years of relevant selling experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Prior experience in the appropriate therapeutic area is highly desired.
  • Achievement of any mandatory country-specific pharmaceutical sales certifications is essential.

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining a high level of autonomy and independence.
