Educational Assistant for Pupils with SEND

Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled teaching assistant to work with pupils with SEN or ASN in schools across Southwark.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a flexible and passionate individual to support pupils with identified behaviour, SEMH, SEN, including ASD needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a good understanding of child mental health, and a passion for supporting children with SEND.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A good understanding of child mental health or a willingness to learn and support children with additional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including daily temp work
- Passion for supporting children with SEND
