Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Team Leader to join our team at IBIS London City Shoreditch. As a Front Office Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all front office activities, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Front Office Operations: Oversee all front office activities, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest services.
  • Provide Excellent Guest Services: Contribute to guest satisfaction by providing high-quality services with a warm and friendly approach.
  • Address Guest Complaints: Address guest complaints that have not been resolved by team members, providing swift solutions.
  • Support Front Office Manager: Assist the Front Office Manager in developing and implementing new procedures as needed.
  • Ensure Effective Communication: Ensure effective and efficient communication processes daily, maintaining service standards.
  • Support On-the-Job Training: Support ongoing On-the-Job Training Programs within the department to align with Brand and Service Standards.
  • Guide New Staff: Guide new staff through their initial induction into the team, department, following established guidelines.
  • Cultivate a Cohesive Team: Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to cultivate a cohesive team that works with trust and accountability to achieve departmental and hotel goals.
  • Promote Loyalty Program: Promote the ALL Accor loyalty program to guests.

Requirements:

  • Service Focused Personality: Service focused personality is essential.
  • Proficiency in Hotel Management Software: Proficiency in hotel management software, particularly Opera Cloud.
  • Experience in Front Office Department: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a front office department.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
