Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Clayton Park Bakery. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Picking and warehousing products with accuracy and efficiency
- Manual handling of up to 25Kg regularly, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Stock counting, control, and rotation to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Assisting in vehicle loading and unloading safely and efficiently
- Organizing stock replenishment to meet production requirements
- Completing documents and records accurately, both paper-based and on Excel spreadsheets
- Bendi Forklift license preferred, but not essential
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including manual handling and standing for long periods
- Experience of working in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
- Level 2 in food safety and hygiene would be preferable, but training can be provided
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and similar computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a good level of numeracy
