We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Wesco International, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing customers to drive sales growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Prospect new business opportunities and identify potential customers
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless sales process and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain market knowledge
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior sales experience required, outside sales preferred
- Two years of industry experience preferred
- Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers
- Ability to work flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communicator both written and verbally
- Ability to work in team environment
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Working Environment:
Outside Sales - Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
