We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Gloucester on a part-time basis. This role will involve managing one HR Administrator and overseeing various HR functions.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Performance Management: Oversee probation reviews and annual appraisals, ensuring that managers receive necessary training and support.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages, leading monthly payroll processes and coordinating with finance to manage salary administration.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and create or facilitate programs to enhance employee skills, compliance training, and leadership development.
  • Policy Development and Compliance: Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies.
  • HR Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with organisational goals, driving business success.
  • Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate day-to-day HR records, preparing reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR function.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, labour relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in Excel and web-based systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a team spirit, willing to work collaboratively within the organisation.

Estimated Salary:
