Job Title: Apprenticeship Programme LeadAbout the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Programme Lead to lead our Electrical apprenticeship programme. As a key member of our training staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to apprentices in our workshop and plant facility.

Responsibilities:
  • To develop and deliver the overall strategy for our Electrical apprenticeship programme.
  • To oversee the delivery of practical training sessions to apprentices, covering topics such as wiring & testing, electrical maintenance, health & safety, assembling, wiring, and testing panels, maintaining and testing process instrumentation and control devices, PLCs.
  • To design and develop training materials for workshop and plant-based practical modules.
  • To ensure that all workshop sessions adhere to Ofsted guidelines and regulations.
  • To guarantee that training and assessment resources used, session management, and documentation are OFSTED and awarding body compliant.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of industry experience as a time-served electrician or electrical engineer.
  • An interest in working with young people and progressing their skills to work in industry.
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
  • IT literacy with experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Moodle.
  • Experience delivering electrical training.
  • An understanding of apprenticeships, training, and relevant qualification systems.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 per annum. A competitive benefits package will also be offered.
