Child Development Support Worker

We are Twinnie Day Nursery, a renowned provider of childcare services. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a range of activities that support children's learning and development, working closely with parents and carers to ensure seamless integration into the nursery, and maintaining high standards of practice by adhering to our policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- To contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in conjunction with other staff;
- To keep a proper record of key children via the nursery app and in note journal where necessary such as for send children,
- Work alongside parents/carers of special needs children to provide full integration in the Setting;
- Support all staff and uphold standards within the Setting by adhering to all policies and procedures;
- Strive to safeguard children by working to the organisation's safeguarding Code of Conduct;
- Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members;
- To attend ALL out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parents/carers evenings, Christmas party, etc;To be flexible within working practices of Setting.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess empathy and understanding of children under 5, excellent verbal and communication skills with children and parents, and the ability to write reports and keep clear and accurate records.
Employer Benefits- Annual salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum.
