Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis.

About the Role: As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading mechanical design work packages and working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical design work packages and ensure timely delivery of designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and records
  • Contribute to the development of design standards and guidelines
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with company standards

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in mechanical design and development, with a focus on product life cycles
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
