About the RoleThis is a senior role within the bid team, responsible for managing and writing large, complex, and strategic bids for key clients. As a Senior Bid Manager, you will:
- Project-manage bid responses, supporting subject matter experts and contributors to create high-quality content.
- Author clear, compelling, and compliant responses that help us secure new business and target clients.
- Support colleagues across the business to upskill on managing and contributing to bids, building our capability.
- Support bid team colleagues with reviews and occasional escalations.
We are looking for an experienced bid and proposal writer/manager to join our Bid Team. This is a hands-on role, with end-to-end responsibility for managing bid progress and shaping and writing responses.
You will work with teams of subject matter experts to deliver compelling bids, proposals, and presentations that showcase BJSS's capabilities. As the lead on each bid, you will be a key influence on how we tell the story, our approach to requirements, and the content and flow of our response.
You will join a close-knit team of bid managers, bid coordinators, and reviewers who work together to achieve excellent results for every bid. We offer a supportive environment, with flexible working arrangements and a range of benefits, including:
