About the Role

Bid Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Bid Writer to join its expanding team. As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the wider bid function by writing compelling responses to bid questions in line with customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fact finding with stakeholders across the business to ensure a deep understanding of customer profiles and requirements.
  • Researching customer profiles to inform bid responses and identify potential opportunities.
  • Uploading and dispatching ITTs and bids to portals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Maintaining a broad commercial awareness and business intelligence, and alerting the sales team to any potential opportunities.
  • Undertaking additional projects and activities to support Bid Management and Business Development as required.
Essential Experience and Skills
  • 1+ years of bid writing experience for public sector tenders.
  • A close attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality bid responses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to succeed under pressure to meet tender deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite, with a strong understanding of bid management software.
  • A self-motivated individual who is committed to ensuring every tender is of the highest possible standard.
