Infection Prevention and Control Specialist

Role Overview

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention and Control Specialist to join our team on a part-time contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • To conduct surveillance and monitoring of infections within the hospital, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective control measures.
  • To provide expert advice on Infection Prevention and Control issues, contributing to the development of local procedures and policies.
  • To design and deliver training programs on Infection Prevention and Control, ensuring staff are equipped to prevent and control infections.
  • To conduct environmental audits, developing and implementing action plans to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • To coordinate Infection Prevention and Control activities across the hospital, working closely with the Hospital Director and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Current NMC registration.
  • A flexible and positive attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
