Key Responsibilities:
  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare weekly supplier payments in a timely manner
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and invoices to purchase orders
  • Process monthly credit card payments
  • Maintain and monitor the purchase ledger inbox
  • Link invoices to the internal database
  • Process sales invoices and set up new clients
  • Maintain and monitor the sales admin inbox
  • Assist in debt chasing and processing month-end journals
  • Reconcile 'Work in Progress' sheets and enter into the accounting system
  • Assist in reconciling monthly control accounts and preparing profit and loss reports
  • Support the Finance Manager with monthly accounts meetings and annual budget preparation

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of transactional accounting and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be comfortable working in a small finance function within a large organisation and able to work to strict deadlines.
