About the Job:

We are seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who require additional support and make a real difference in their lives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide academic and emotional support to students with special educational needs.
  2. Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support students' academic and personal growth.
  3. Provide pastoral care and help the class teacher create an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued.
Requirements:
  • A caring and nurturing personality with a positive attitude and desire to help others.
  • Previous experience working with children would be beneficial, as well as an understanding of additional needs.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, criminology or health & social care, would also be useful.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £85 per day, and the location is Salisbury, Wiltshire. By working as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant at Academics Ltd, you will further your SEN experience and have progression opportunities as an SEN Teacher, Speech and Language Therapist, Autism Practitioner or Educational Psychologist.
