Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Manager to join our team at Translink. As a key member of our Portfolio Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for developing and implementing our IS strategy, managing projects, and overseeing the development and implementation of information management and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overarching IS strategy for the PMO
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of information management and reporting systems
  • Lead the implementation of business transformation initiatives to support the achievement of Translink's strategic and operational objectives
  • Manage and control projects, ensuring they are aligned with Translink's business needs and objectives
Requirements
  • Minimum HND or equivalent in an Information Management, Information Systems, or other technology engineering/science/business relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in successfully planning and implementing control processes in an ICT or PMO environment
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in successfully managing complex ICT projects
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software
  • Experience in building reports within Excel, MS Office, MS Project, and Power BI Reports from a variety of information sources
Desirable Criteria
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification
  • APM/PRINCE 2 Project Management Qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in successfully planning, management, and control processes within an ICT environment
  • Experience in managing ICT systems or delivery of projects within a PMO enterprise environment
  • Experience of End User training for ICT systems
